Ramesh Purushothaman

Ramesh Purushothaman is an accomplished healthcare professional based in Whitby, Ontario, currently serving as the CEO of Markham Gateway Physio and Wellness Center while also working as a Long-Term Care Inspector for the Ontario Public Service. With over 15 years of experience in physiotherapy across various academic, clinical, and supervisory roles, Ramesh has developed a comprehensive skill set that encompasses the treatment of joint replacements, fractures, neurological conditions, and more.
He holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Evidence In Motion in the United States and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Annamalai University in India, where he achieved second-highest overall scores. His professional journey includes significant roles at Extendicare, QE II Hospital, and Madinat Zayed Hospital, where he demonstrated leadership in clinical assessments, treatment planning, and inter-professional collaboration.
Ramesh is known for his strong communication skills, commitment to quality care, and his ability to mentor students and staff. As a member of various professional associations, he continuously seeks to update his knowledge and share expertise in the field, striving to be part of a results-oriented clinical team.
Tharani Harikaran
Clinic Manager
Tharani Harikaran is a motivated professional based in Courtice, Ontario, with a strong background in customer service and food preparation. She has gained valuable experience as a cashier at West Bram Convenience in Brampton from October 2018 to January 2020, where she greeted customers, processed transactions, and managed inventory checks.
Following that, Tharani worked at Tim Hortons in Toronto from February 2020 to September 2023, where she welcomed customers, took orders, prepared food and beverages, and trained new team members, while ensuring efficient drive-thru service.
Tharani holds a College Certificate in Accounting Payroll and Tax from Taha in Toronto, expected in May 2024, and a Bachelor’s degree in Regional Planning from the University of Jaffna. She possesses a range of skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting software like Sage 50 and QuickBooks, as well as strong communication and leadership abilities. Fluent in English, Tharani is dedicated to providing exceptional service and is well-prepared for future opportunities in her career.

Padmaja Mukundan is a dedicated and experienced registered physiotherapist based in Ontario, Canada. With a career spanning over 15 years, Padmaja has been practicing physiotherapy since 2008, providing exceptional care and expertise to her patients.
